I grew up on old-fashioned corkscrews to open wine bottles. I remember occasionally watching my father wrestle with one as he tried to remove the cork without splashing wine on himself, or getting bits of cork in the wine, or several other things that could go wrong and spoil the party.
Many years later, my older sister found the neat contraption I’m about to show you. She thought it was so cool that she bought one for everyone in the family. And I absolutely LOVE mine.
