Pork Tenderloin with Cola Sauce

Pork Tenderloin with Cola SauceHere’s a simple barbecue recipe that you can whip together in no time flat. You can also use this sauce for pork chops or other meat choices.

Ingredients:

1 12-ounce can of cola (do NOT use diet soda)
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4-1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper (or to taste)
1 pork tenderloin – approximately 1.5 lbs.

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven (to 350°) or grill.

Pork Tenderloin with Cola SauceCombine first six ingredients in small-medium pot. Bring to soft boil, then lower heat to simmer and reduce sauce until it’s about one cup.

Grill or roast tenderloin until internal thermometer reads 140 degrees.

Baste entire tenderloin with sauce and continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 150 degrees.

Baste again with sauce and transfer tenderloin to cutting board.

Let meat rest for five to 7 minutes before carving.

Serve tenderloin with any remaining sauce.

Presonally, I prefer to grill this entre, but roasting works, too. Try it both ways, then leave me a comment to tell me which version you preferred.

And don’t forget to play with your food!
